Important Towability Note: Even though Blue Ox provides the BX1521 baseplate for your car, it's important to take your car's specific equipment—such as an automatic transmission or four-wheel drive—into account when assessing whether it can be torn down. To find out if your car can be flat towed and to acquire the proper towing instructions, check with your dealer or owner's manual. It may be necessary to purchase additional equipment, such as a driveshaft disconnect or transmission pump, which can be purchased separately. If these conditions are not met, there could be harm to the towed car or personal injury.
