Operates on (2) 9V Batteries (not included). Should you ever be lacking a battery, the RRP2EX also operates off the included 12V cigarette power adaptor, so you'll never be without power for transmission.
The record in/out port allows you to connect a digital recorder so you can record your audio — a great tool for instructors and students.
The 'Pilot Isolate' feature allows the pilot to isolate all conversation to just the pilot and ATC for clear and uninterrupted conversation.
The design of the RRP2EX offers Pilot-Only 'Transmission Protection', meaning if there's ever an in-flight power-loss, the RRP2EX will still transmit - even without power.
Also included is Rugged's #CS-MUSIC stereo music cord to connect an iPod, iPhone, or other standard MP3 player with a 3.5mm jack for audio enjoyment.
