Theyre a full 1" in diameter for strength and made with powder-coated chromoly steel thats resistant to rust and decay. Industry-leading heim joints strengthen the weakest point" the tie rod ends" for superior durability. We use huge 3/4" rod threads and rebuildable inners with 16 mm rack threads to eliminate the weak spots commonly found on OEM tie rod ends. The Z-bend distributes force more effectively too.
